Kristen Petrizzo

Kristen came to UNC Charlotte in 2018 where she received both an undergraduate and master’s degree in Sociology. As a graduate student, Kristen worked in the 49er Rebound program assisting students on academic probation and taught for the Sociology department. After acquiring her master’s, she worked in grant funded scholarship research until coming to the CLAS Advising Center in May 2022. As an academic advisor, Kristen is passionate about empowering her students to get the most out of their experiences in higher education. At home, Kristen enjoys spending as much time as possible with her son Felix, crocheting, and doing puzzles.
